Hi Everyone,
I am interested in using the a7s for registering live events. We want to use the clean hdmi out which goes to a computer. During the event the camera will not be operated and only needs to send it's image so it can be live broadcasted on the internet. Can someone tell me if the camera will go on standby if it's being used with clean hdmi out (so no internal recording) and being on the AC adapter? Or is it possible to disable an auto power shut off function? Is it possible to use the video function for several hours or will it overheat?
It's a very specific question and even Sony itself can't answer it. So hopefully someone in this forum can help us.
