How about adding at least one additional connector to the Red-Drive or RedFlash that is compatible with the majority of computers, like; USB2 or Firewire 400, allowing easy, camera-free offloading.

I have the feeling that RED will have a firewire out. I think the hard drive will be internal like in the new JVC consurer camcorders. Only time will tell.
