Hello,

Just got the camera, me and my friends were messing around and decided to make a 80s hair band metal video...

This is more of a joke, its my first music video, theres a couple transitions i wanna fix, and the rendered versions color correction didnt really show like it did in vegas, but it looks decent, let me know what you think..

common id like some feed back on this, if u got cable only takes 2-4 mins to download, its really not a big file.

ahhh only 3 mins on my connection ;D whiners! Good stuff, should have been some sort of cheezy story choreography folded in with that. Would have made it more interesting to watch and laugh at, but solid lighting, focusing, and editing. and by the way your insane :D

hahah, thanks man, we filmed it in like 3 hours the other night, my buddy thought up the idea in like 2 minutes, and on the way to the beach to film those scenes the dude with the white hair was flippin through some cds and put it a dio cd and was like alright were using this song.

We just wanted to make something to test out the camera, just something quick and goofy, good for a laugh.

Lighting was all natural, just 2 lights in the room we used, I didnt do much to the color correction, the raw footage looked amazing, this camera is crazy.

Are you kidding? With my 256Mbps DSL it's accusing 45min. Cleaner is a separate app you have to buy, but to have a 3min piece around 20MB, you can just use compressor and export a MPG-1.

I'm just using a cable internet connection and it only took me 4 minutes to download. The filesize is fine.

I liked the video a lot. Because the song is really fast-paced and driving, I think you could have made quicker edits to match. Perhaps that's just me being desensitized to rapid-fire cuts thanks to the proliferation of MTV, but I think it would help here. And honestly, I really liked the colors and shots down at the beach... I wish you would have shot more of it down there. It's got much more depth, texture, and interesting visuals than an empty room with white walls. Other than that, I liked it... but then I'm a sucker for 80s metal.

P.S. - I dunno if your "guitarist" really plays guitar (I assume someone you know must own the guitar at the very least), but either way, he needs to fake those solos better -- he's not fooling me! lol

Some people have DSL/Cable while others still use The Pony Express. This took me 2:30 seconds; in the meantime I ran some smack over at www.dvinfo.net.

Now onto the video; OMG flashback. Ronnie James Dio. Damn that song "Last in Line" was great. Looks like you guys had some fun on this. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah we had a lot of fun makin this,

That guitar is mine, and he does really play the guitar, hes pretty crazy, but we filmed the beach scenes then i had to go somewhere for about an hour, in the mean time they looked up teh tab and got an idea on how to play the song, when i got back we just filmed a bunch of stuff in that room, and then filmed some stuff on the stairs and infront of the fire place then put it all together makin it look as close to him really playing it, so its kinda my mistake witht he editing, i think the second shot in the solo the close of the guitar is definatly where u can tell, this was just to test the camera,

we wernt really plannin on ne pro guitarists noticing that his notes wernt right on. :)
