Hello Lads,
I did my best to find a fix for these products but with no success.
Has anybody tried the fix in Premiere ?

I have seen solutions for AE and FCP and even Vegas.

thank you and happy new year !

there's a script for avisynth in the stairstep thread. i'm not sure if ppro opens avisynth proxies but you can always use virtualdub to convert otherwise. all free tools and compatible with ppro. or are you on a mac? if so the ffmpeg based script in the same thread works fine.

from what I could gather and test so far , the Avisynth fix does not work with anything else but the native D90 avi files.
Has anyone succesfully fixed a processed file ?

i've been using virtual dub & avisynth script
its a pain to do file by file and wait for it to compile especially when u have a few...
i wish there was an automated tool like, fix all the files in this directory sort of thing...

Windows scripting is very basic, on mac and unix it's very easy to write a script that does something whith each file in a folder, even semi complex stuff like inserting the filename into a script adaptively, opening it in an app and starting processing. Maybe you can get an ubuntu live cd and simply run the linux program with ffmpeg? as for workflow there's no real reason why it wouldn't work on a processed file, you "just" need to make it a format and codec avisynth understands. /matt

I actually wanted to do a few things in AviSynth like cropping and batch processing but could not find a good place to learn the basics of its language. Does anybody know of a good one?

Thanks...
