Stabilizing system - weight

I'm looking to buy the smooth shooter for my DVX, but I found the GLidecam V-16 on sale used for about the same price. My question is, will I be able to use the glidecam V-16 with my DVX ? The site says that the V-16 carries from 10 to 20 pounds and my DVX weighs 4 pounds, plus 35 mm adapter + rods + extra battery + wireless mic. Any one have about the same setup and knows if it weighs at least 10 pounds ? Should I take the Smooth Shooter just to be safe or risk it with the V-16

Here's a pic of my setup:---------->

Can't help but to ask: who are the 2 figures at the top of your picture?

The only way to tell the weight of your setup is to weigh it, either as a package, or as seperate parts and then add.

Don't forget that you will need to add a remote focus system to use a Manual lenses on a Stabilizer.
