Stabilizer sollutions??? Please help

So I am about to by a vest stabalizer but am looking for some help. I have a Glidecam 3000 and a DVX100a.

Are there any better(cheaper) systems than the Smooth Shooter, AKA 3rd party products that anyone has experimented with?

Dont know about cheaper but there a couple new steadicam setups from tiffen that debuted at NAB aimed towards "budget" camera flyers with smaller cameras.
