I just upgraded to AXP HD 5.0 but do I get extra goodies (new Sorenson, etc.) ? I didn't see anything else other than what was in the LAUNCH.

My understanding is that in the middle of January Avid will offer a boxed version of the HD upgrade for around $300 that will include the upgrade to Sorenson, an upgrade to ReelDVD, and Soundfire Pro. That's a steal for the upgrades to those software packages, but as a user who has already upgraded to Squeeze 4, it becomes less economical for me to buy that boxed upgrade.

If you don't have Squeeze 4, I highly recommend it.

At the risk of asking the obvious... I'm interested in (minimally) upgrading Xpress and Squeeze

(1) Is this a valid upgrade path for current users to the Avid Xpress Pro HD (5.0) package currently [1/12/05] on the Avid website?

(2) Are the additional bundled products full versions or lite versions?

(3) Does the upgrade download include these packages? (and the added premium simply covers boxing, manuals, shipping, etc.)
