When you use squeeze mode, does it automatically stretch the image back to a 16 x 9 when you put it into an NLE or do you have to do something to get it to 16 x 9-- would you just open it up in a widescreen format to begin with instead of a 4:3 format in NLE.. ive got Premiere pro 1.5

Any help would be great , thanks!

Re: Squeeze Mode???

Just open it up in Premiere as a 16:9 project and it will unstretch and you are good to go.

Re: Squeeze Mode???

-use a 16:9 project if you want to edit in 16:9
-right click the clips in the project bin, and select to conform footage.. conform them to the 1.2 pixel aspect for widescreen 16:9. (you can do all the clips at once if you select them all at once.)

thats all. ;)

Re: Squeeze Mode???

Yes, Premiere will automatically recognize them because they're flagged. When using the Anamorphic adaptor, however, you must use the interpret footage dialog once they are in Premiere.
