Squeeze mode or Anamorphic adapter?

I'm shooting some material for a local television station and they require that video be shot "in 16x9 (native) aspect ratio in Standard or High Definition."
Last time I worked for them I used my 100A with the anamorphic adapter and everything worked out fine. But I also realized how much of a pain in the ass it is to work with that lense.
So this time around I was hoping that I could just use the "squeeze mode" on the camera. I have not been able to talk to the producer, but does anyone think that using the "squeeze mode" will be acceptable based on what they require.
I would appreciate your help, as I have this shoot tomorrow morning.
Thanks!

If it's for a local television station, I can't imagine they'd even notice that you shot squeeze mode. It should be fine.

It does matter. The viewer might not know the difrence but the partners will. I gave a show i was workin on and they told me the same 16 by 9. They knew when i did squeeze. I know its a pain but the picture is far superb. Alot of people think it only good for blowing up to film. It is also good for stations and thats what they want aprently. If they ask for 16 by 9 then its 16 by 9. If ur boss asks u to do something acording to the details specified u do that it's as simple as that. Use the lense again.
