hey i just spotted on CNN (actually the Comic Global Edition/ i think thats what its called)

you know that spoof news show, they had that guy making his docu about M moore (farenhieght 9/11)

anyway i dont knew if the whole thing was a spoof or what but they was using a dvx!!
kweel ;D

Anyway watched it in the UK, so dont know if they show it over their (or maybe its old news?)

oops forget to say that if anyone has ant more info about it please tell me, beacuse if this guy really is making that document with a dvx and is planing to have a mainstream theatrical release i might just watch it for the sake of seeing what dvx film out looks like ::)

Actually, I was shooting at the US Open Karate Tournament in Orlando, FL last week and I saw several peeps shooting with a DVX100.

One guy I spoke with briefly was shooting for Spike.

Re: DVX being used for doc. I constantly see the DVX being used all over by independant filmmakers and Documentarians. Although not as good for a 35mm blowup compared to something like HD, the DVX will look great for DVD and Network Television releases, Which in most cases are where these people are looking to market there Video's. As for seeing the DVX being used for a micheal moore documentary, In a way it is and isn't. There's I guy Named Michael Wilson who's making a documentary called (Michael Moore Hates America) and he has a three man crew (including himself) and is using one DVX. you can check it out here, personally I'm for Micheal Moore and the films that he's made. Although it's definetly a one side view of something I know that when I see a Micheal Moore film. But he does deliver the facts. Whether you like them or not.
