Splitting the Component out signal

Can you split the Component Out signal using a simple "Y" type connector without the integrity of the signal being lost? Do you need a booster of some sort. If so what is the longest cable you would recommend? Does anyone know where to find this type of "Y" type splitter and signal booster. I have a Gates underwater housing for the HVX200 and have had them to add both component and video outs. I now know that the Component out overrides the video out so that both cannot be used concurrently. I also have the Gates onboard monitor that connects to the component out so I'm looking for a way to split the signal coming out of the housing to feed both the onboard Gates monitor and a Panasonic HD Monitor.(BT-LH1700WP) 17"widescreen or Marshall 7" using it's component ins on the surface. Can anyone help!!!

Why exactly do you need to do this? Are you monitoring topside at the same time that you are using the underwater onboard monitor? Strange problem. Maybe if I knew more I could help.
