Split CONTENTS folder

Hi,
I have a 16GB card and I need to know what is the best way to split the CONTENTS folder into two 8GB folders for archiving to dual layer DVDs?

You probably should span the 16gb card over 2 discs or else you may run into a lot of trouble down the track with your archived footage. I think toaster was alright for the Mac.
