Hi Guys,
Here's a little fantasy short I shot about two years ago on the F5, that I think some of you might be interested to see. It's just finished it's festival run so now the producer's put it out into the world. It was a very interesting project - inspired by the likes of Alejandro Jodorowsky, and films like The Holy Mountain.
Unfortunately we lost our VFX supervisor the day before starting production, and certain VFX shots and sequences were never quite completed. But it was fascinating to explore a more esoteric style of narrative filmmaking than I'm used to.
We shot 16-bit 4k raw to the AXS-R5, which (as you'll see) was hugely important given the intensity of the colour grade the film required.
It's a little different, so I'll be very interested to hear others' takes on it:
Cheers,
Mark
