I see this new speed booster is in stock and they say it is for "select" MFT cameras. No mention of compatibility with the AF100 in their list. Wonder if that means no? Maybe it is compatible but they are leaving it off the list because it is a discontinued camera?

Scroll down the page: you can find "AF100 not tested yet"

Comparing the images of the previous with the latest, looks like the new one plunges deeper into the camera. Don't know how much room there is in the AF100 before it would strike the sensor. I'm too timid to buy the new and be the guinea pig.

i got a CAMDIOX and and used it with a 70-210 Canon FD lense. It was £60 (or maybe £80). Workes a treat. The lense was £13! You dont need the electrical conectins if you use them with manual lenses.

only concern with some of the knock-offs is the introduction of aliasing. But for the money it's totally worth the investment.

I sprung for the previous .71x Metabones SB/nikon which Adorama still has in stock. B&H shows that model as discontinued and now only carries the newer .64x model, which has not been tested and approved for AF100. Now debating lens choice between the Sigma 17-35 / 1.7 and the Lumix 18-35 / 2.8; but I guess that's a topic for another thread.

Did you mean Sigma 18-35/1.8? If so, it's a great lens. I borrowed one often from a friend to use on my AF100 back in the day. Definitely worth it.

yes, I had the numbers wrong. 18-35 / 1.8. I wish the long end reached a little farther when used with the speed booster. Extremely happy with a Tokina 50-135 /2.8 DX I just bought. They don't make them anymore but can be found used. Internal zoom, It's a bit heavy, has a tripod collar.
