specs for tv spots. Hd DVD?

I have to shoot some b-roll for a QVC shopping channel item. I asked my client for specs and was told HD dvd. I thought dvd was SD unless it is blue-ray? How would you hand off 60 sec. of b-roll?
 
There's also HD-DVD, but no one makes them anymore. Check to see if that's what they want. But I'm guessing they didn't say exactly that -- ask for some clarification.
 
maybe they meant HD on a data dvd. which isnt really a "spec" though...

is QVC doing HD?
 
an editor friend says: "Just about any edit system out there can handle DVCPRO HD, so that would be safe and fit on a data DVD reasonably well."
