Specific Handle

I'm looking for a specific camera handle. The best way I can explain it is if the handle was all ONE piece. In other words...it would have a rod about 5-6 inches that would screw into the camera and also have a perpendicular handle sticking out to the side at the top. A handle system that looks like the letter "L" rotated 90 degrees to the right. Does that make sense? It wouldn't require any baseplates or rods that you would clamp together, etc.

And as far as the design, I'm specifically looking for a..let's say..6" by 6" black rod set up (L) that has a 3-4" black grip on the top 6" rod.

Thank you.

I've seen it and it looks really good, but it's not for me. For one thing, I want a black rubber grip. Berkeysystem has the closest to what I need but it's in a few pieces. Plate, rods, clamp, etc.

Thanks LiamR.

Norbro, My handle will rotate to the side and lock in securely in seconds. Nothing else will do that. You can cut the 12 inch top rods it comes with or order our 7.5 inch set. You can order it w/o the wood grip or just wrap it in black rubber tape/handlebar wrap.

In case that helps- I have a video of how it all works on vimeo.

Not a bad idea. But you're using the hot shoe, right? I wanted to keep the hot shoe there for my mic and just use on of the threads for a handle system...

Where's the video?

Here is the clip http://vimeo.com/29772566

I use the 15mm rod/mic holder that comes with the camera. it's in the clip. The clip is already old, heck it's been 3 weeks!
With the new tapped base everything is easier. That video is on it's last legs this week.

This handle is a whole new world for FS100 shooting. It actually takes away the irritating background thinking of how to just handle and work the camera. it's kind of addictive ;)
