So, when my husband and I were done with our zombie flick, we weren't really ready to stop shooting. We looked around the room at the lights, camera, etc. and were like, WTF? Let's shoot another movie!

It was then that I realized I actually had something special to celebrate.

I would like to extend a big thank you to disjecta for hosting my film and also for the use of his avatar (I now have my own, thank you very much).

That was freakin' hilarious. It reminded me of a Christopher Guest film. Awesome. I have a feeling Dallas that about halfway through this thread it's gonna be time for that next film.

Ha ha, I love these. I agree everyone should do one, its a great way to really see who we are without watching.........while your not looking.........from across the street.......behind a window.......through the shades...........with binoculars.

See what I mean. If I'm going to be stalked I wan't it to be out in the open. :grin:

It's cool to see a wife and husband team with the same interests in images and the creative eye. I know a while back your hubby was talking about possibly having a training day, is that on the backburner still? I'm thinking about possibly starting a public access show for armature videographers to shoot ideas off each other and further their craft. It's still a concept in the works, but I'd love to have Disjecta come on for one of the shows if my concept becomes reality.

Ah job well done Dallas! BRAVO! I instantly got a boost of energy when I heard my name, I have friends besides my wife and kids now! lol, just kidding. I love the entire piece especially the "change that avitar" piece! What's the inside scoop on the amtrack line? I can't wait until you hit 20 posts next year, I want to see that video! LOL
 
Wow...The lighting was awesome! I really liked it. Also, you seem very natural behind a camera. BETTER THAN MY ZOMBIES DAMMIT!!!!! Gosh darnet Disjecta, another thing for us to envy!!! Great job Dallas, and hope you enjoy for many years to come.

Well done btw. From the start I thought "the image looks really good". Must be someone that knows how to use the DVX... Duh. Thanks for posting that clip.

In concurrence with the other posts in this thread, I must say that was the shizzle my nizzles. Yeah, I loved how you did the big reveal with the line about "I wanna be the mother of your children". Awesome! :grin: :)

btw, you're right... I need to get a new avatar. Problem is this one was so cool it could probably never be matched. :|
 
That was very cool guys plus I even got a shout out! Thanks! I feel really special now! Your wife was probably like, hun, who the hell is this bluespider and why do I have to say his name? He's not one of them gang members is he? :) I also like the lighting! Very cool!
 
Dallas - That was excellent. Nice lighting and good pacing. You're husband is always a good story teller and thanks for the shout-out. Hope to see another 10 posts from you.
