Spare Microphone holder bracket For my Dvx100ae

hi everyone,

can anybody give me some info where can I buy a spare mic holder bracket for my DVX please? I've got mine broken after a Filming trip.
Thanks in Advance,

Yes, I thought about it, but I'm keeping it as a last Resort because I use a Paglight on the shoe quite often. The Problem is that Since Malta is just a small Island witha a poplulation of 400,000 people (yes - four hundred thousand) , we are quite limited in what we can buy off the shelf (as regards to Pro-Video equipment). So I'm trying my best to find a contact who can supply me with such spares if need be. At this very moment I managed to make one bracket our of aluminium but it looks nasty on the camera and being myself so sick-minded I won't allow such ill esthetics on my equipment.
Renegadewill, I still appreciate your response - thanks a lot. I'll be there if you need online help. Thanks a lot.

That's pretty cool. why are you complaining. If you don't like the color just give it a light spray job with a rattle can. I think it looks cool raw like that.

very soon I will be posting a picture of a bracket that fixes between the camera & the tripod head (any type of head). I leave this bracket attached permanently to the camera and holds not one but two Sennheiser ew series radiomic receivers. I made it out of an aluminium flat bar and a 3mm aluminium plate. it looks cool!

I am going to have to side with Will on this one. Your "temporary" bracket not only looks cool, but it is probably sturdier than the original. I can't wait to see the radio bracket.

This is the twin radio mic bracket i recently made out of aluminium. It's great! I found it useful even on my 3 day filming trip to london!! lightweight & practical and did not cost me more than €20 ans three hours of hard labour !!! lol -enjoy .

Can you explain us what are the black box we see on your internal side picture ?
Also can you detail a little bit more how you have fixed the receivers on your bracket ?

Thanks for your job.

those two squares with holes are the plastic brackets that were supplied with the receivers (sennheiser ew series). I fixed those squares to the bracket with small screws so that the receivers can clip onto them so that they both stay in place. I think I answered both your questions. Don't hesitate to reply should you need more info.
