Spacer to use wide angle VCL-HG0872 lens with DVX200

[jduke]

Trying to find a spacer in US. Quenox spacer which was mentioned in this forum is not available. I bought Optica 72mm-72mm Lens Spacer Adapter. Does not work. It is not deep enough. Anybody knows of another spacer which works with VCL-HG0872?
Please let me know. Thanks.

Why not stack spacers until it does work?

The construction of the spacer prevents it to "catch" onto the VCL-HG0872 lens and stacking the spacers will not solve this problem. The spacer needs to have a "deeper" part with the thread on the side which goes onto the lens.
