Sound problem?

When I playback what I have recorded the sound skips in certain areas of the footage. Can someone help me? Do I need to clean something? Please Help!!

How many hours do you have on your camera? It might need to be cleaned.
 
It's possible the "skipping" is due to your audio being over modulated. Meaning you recorded it too high. With digital audio, when it is recorded at too high a level, it just disappears. Unlike analog audio recording where it is there but distorted.

It sounds to me like you need to lower your audio levels when recording. I never like more than one or two red marks to peak on my DVX100a.
 
I don't have many hours on it. I don't even think I have hit 30hours.

I'm going to try the audio levels and see how that works. Get back to you later.
