Hi all,
I recently dragged out the DVX100A for a "quick" shoot for a friend and ran into some sound problems.
Symptom: When using either a Senn 416 or a Senn EW112 wireless lav, (both set to MIC, Channels don't seem to matter)
It "seems" to record sound i.e I can see the audio level meters move but when I playback the tape (Sony DSR-30) I can see the audio meters move on the playback deck, but no sound comes out.
Test: Same tape but switched to INT on both channels and I get good audio levels AND I can hear the audio on playback.
I am sure that this is some dumbass thing I've forgotten (at least I hope it is)
