Sound issues

Hey everyone, My name is Mark, Im haveing an issue w/ sound using the dvx100b and senhieser wireless mic(s). After dumping the footage to Premier, I have static on my audio... We used 2 wireless, found out later they were on the same frequency, was told that wasnt a problem, but I dont know how to clean it up. Any suggestions? My "B" camera recorded audio as well, but of course echoei... That is my fail safe, but would really like to try to clean up the audio from the wirelesses... hellpppp!!!

Thank You,
Mark

Wow. If it is printed to tape with static then you may be stuck.(listen thru the little speaker on the dvx or plug in headphones) Or try importing the footage from another camera or dv deck and see what happens. That sucks.

Mark,

Digital noise reduction is a whole other topic. The tools in Adobe Audition/Cool Edit Pro are really good at removing noise, but "static" is another thing. If it's crackling and varying a lot, it'll be tough to remove. Basic contast noises from AC units and the like are much easier to remove.

See if you can put a limiter compression filter on the audio to remove the cracking sound. Sounds like a clipping issue.
