I shot a music video last week on D9, and i'm having trouble syncing the footage up with the original track.
The footage was captured Pal DV50 on an Adrenaline, and i want to cut it on Xpress Pro. The original track was 44.1khz (used a portable deck for playback), the capture was 48Khz (obviously).
I've tried resampling the track in soundforge, changing format settings, and what not, but i can't for the life of me get them sync. Waveforms lined up and all, the 3.48 minute track drifts out of sync about a second on the end of the track. I searched high and low on the web, and the only thing i could find was drifting issues wich concern NTSC formats.
Any thoughts on that?
Might the playback set be playing it back slower or something?
