This was bought for a project that never happened. Since Purchased it has literally only been used for a couple of tests in the studio but never on location or on a job so virtually new (see Pics).

I'm Selling this for £1350 plus postage in the UK or abroad and will also consider reasonable offers. The device is fully kitted and ready to go.

Sale Includes:
- PIX CADDY
- Kingston 240GB SSD
- PIX Hood
- Mains Power Supply Adapter (accepts standard kettle style cable and can be used to power the unit and to charge the batteries)
- 2 x NP - F960/F970 Batteries 7,2V 6000mAh (PLEASE NOTE that on the main picture there are 4 batteries but only two are currently available and they are completely BRAND NEW)

Only the PIX 220 cost was £1500 and the extras add almost another £500.

Its a great device and does the trick really well but I dont really need it for the jobs I do and that's why I'm selling it.
The Device was originally purchased in Holland but its in London now. The original Purchase warranty is valid till the 20th of December as far as I remember but the registration card has never been filled up, so one could give it a go.

I haven't used the item on location and never have drained the batteries completely. On the couple of studio tests I've done I used the machine between 3 and 4 hours and there was still battery left.

I will try and find out more official info from Sound Devices and post it here.

Thanks for the interest

This is an official answer from someone at Sound Devices given to a member of this forum about battery life on the PIX240. If anything the PIX 220 could run for longer but I reckon these are good guidelines.

"It's very difficult to pinpoint a run time. This will depend on codec used, audio inputs, record time and quite literally everything else. On the lightest of current draw, you could expect over 4 or 5 hours with the standard batteries. However, with the most extreme draw you could possible dip down to a half hour or so. This is why the feature that allows the PIX to be powered off of a camera's battery is so important. You can use the NP type batteries with our XL-NPH cup as well. There are many different powering options for the many different projects and power requirements."

Hope this is helpful.
