And WE are competing against YOU?!?! I'm packing my suitcase & going home now, folks. :)

That makes sense where I'd recognize them from. Dang that makes me wish I was closer to LA. Eh, what am I saying ... I've got kids & I don't want them anywhere near there, lol!
Come on. Move out here. Your kids will love it. Lindsay and Paris could always use some more drinking buddies.

Hey now... John Hermann... "Threading the Needle"... DramaFest ??? HELLO!?!?! :crybaby:

OK, So I don't have a arms-length worth of credits on imdb- (Actually, I have no credits on imdb  )- but if you recognized someone from dvxuser, I was in your buddy Ted Arabian's film. (They don't have a gloating smiley, do they?) hehe!!!

But actually, you probably recognized everyone else. :violin:

(Wow- lots of smileys.)
Sorry John. I forgot about you in Drama Fest. Of coarse, Norm must have recognized you from Threading the Needle. It all makes sense now.

Norm, please disregard previous posts.

this was definitly a cool film. really liked the way it was shot. Seemed complete from beginning to end. Really liked the "im so cool, i got the thumb drive" shoot. Only thing that i would have like to see is a little less CC or a different color shirt than white in the storage place but i guess im nit-picing. dont mind me.

great movie, one of the best.
Thanks for the compliments. The shirt was actually yellow, before CC. I wanted the blood to show, but I think I could have went with a slightly darker color and had it work well too.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, with broken promises of poker. :(

I was totally down to take your money. Everyone else wanted to leave. Next time I can save to you drawn out pain and suffering... you can just hand all your cash over to me. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

If Mike's springing for Pay Per View, I'm there!

You're always welcome. Of course at 60 bucks for HD it's getting expensive. Everyone pitches in one way or another, whether it's contributing to the event, the food, or letting me take their money in poker.... just ask John....

Alright I'm there. I'll try my hand at Poker. I'm still learning the game, but I'm sure i'm better than John. Count me in.

I enjoyed the film. Great line delivery and foley sound.

Although I was hoping to see more Kevin West.

Thanks so much. I thought your film was one of the best. I loved the mood and tone of your film. It had a great visual style.

Congrats to you too!

Oh yeah, and Kevin West is one of my best friends so I could always do with less of him.

hahaha, that's awesome.

i'd love to work with him sometime in the future.

maybe when i'm not so 'small time'.

Thanks! I'm glad you thought the sound worked well. It's even a little better now that I've been able to spend a little more time on it and not be rushed by a deadline... it's in 5.1 too.

Michael - I'm glad you like it and yes we are going to get the Video display shots fixed. It They were one of the very last effects to come in. We pulled a favor to get them amd then ther was no time to make any changes or fix them. Aram is helping us out now. He did all of the gun effects on the film.

John- I'm sorry. I just assumed if you are handing over your money to Mike then you must be awful at cards. (See how I turned an apology into another cheap shot? This time at Mike. No one is safe)

Great ****ing film, guys! Photography was great, editing was great, score was great, acting was great, script was great, etc. was great. I think technically, this baby was flawless (without looking for extremely miniscule things that take nothing away from the film as a whole).

I got the flash drive had to do with with network failure and that it was important for something. I actually commented to myself (after watching most of the Spy Fest films so far), hey, that's how it's done. Subtle and to the point and believing in the intelligence of your audience.

I did not see the ending coming until, well, the ending. One thing that helped the twist at the end was that guy in the office where our main guy stole the info from. The guy with the beard, a larger guy, shot the stare as our main guy walked on out of the building. He was vary similar in size, face, etc. to the bumbling hit man at the end. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but if it was, it worked as a mislead.

A couple of quick things: the fight/shoot-out in the garage was a bit too slow for me, so it felt a little staged. I'm sure a little editing could help it.

Secondly, the storage facility and the garage. I liked them as locations, but I didn't see any motivation in the story for the main character to be there, you know what I mean. And if there was intention, it didn't play out on the screen. Maybe he needed to meet somebody at the storage place, had a car waiting for him at the garage, I don't know. Just something to tie those scenes into the story. I know he was "getting away" or "being chased", but they are such BIG and specific types of locations that were not shown anywhere else in the film, I think they needed to be active in some way.

Enough already. A+ filmmaking here, ladies and gentlemen. Great job and thanks for screening.

Whoa, I watched this film having no prior knowledge of who the cast members were.

Totally enjoyed this sophisticated production. Great pacing and story telling, everything!

I was totally surprised as I watched for a third time, I knew I recognized that hitman from somewhere...

Ah, my wife and I are huge Kevin Chamberlin fans since catching his recent performance with the New York City Center, Encores production of "Stairway to Paradise." Haha, I guess people look a little different on stage. A great actor and singer. Of his many numbers in the show his heartfelt performance of "Brother, Can You Spare a Dime" was a real stand out.

Good luck guys!!!

Cheers,

Erik Paulsen

I want you guys to picture me sitting at a poker table taking all your money. Then you reach in your pocket for more, and I take that too. This process should help alleviate the pain when it actually happens!! HOW'S THAT FOR JABS!! :Drogar-Dolar(DBG): <--- (that smiley makes me look crazy!! I wanted to center my post around that!)

my younger sister flipped when i told here that the "invisible man" was in this film. i think she is vincent's biggest fan, she has almost every episode taped on vhs. she even helped me make my spyfest entry, but i have a feeling sorry would be getting her vote if she was registered on here.
