Sorry

haha great job, the assassin that made the mistake did a great "oh crap, my bad" face. And I see you are a PrideFC fan lol.
Nice catch. I forgot I did that. Did you freeze frame the shot, or were you able to read it quickly?

Excellent short story concept, well executed and edited. Story/ending was not predictable to me, refreshing. Enjoyed the sound and music was excellent, and after reading this thread, Hoongbee is amazing to produce the score in 2 days. Robin (Vincent), very good on screen presence and Hitman (Kevin), pulled off the paradigm shift from action to comedy. Man, to go from serious to comedy, hard to pull off, and you did a good job of it. Kudos for going for it. Couple of little things, like the taking out of the first Assailant in the secured storage facility could have been a little better or more believable. You got one of my votes in the top three. Joe, Mike and crew

I just saw a long name and so I froze it then to my surprise it was the heavyweight champ! lol

Christopher,

Thanks for the Kudos and your vote. I'm glad you liked it and I appreciate your criticism. The chase scene in the storage facility was my first foray into action scenes. I look forward to getting better in the future.

I call for ActionFest so we can give that a try... what do you say mods? Fan of Hong Kong action right here! I need something to push me to buy the new gear!

:dankk2: for the vote CB! Glad you enjoyed the film!

So I take you guys caught the Rampage v Liddell fight, then? What a fight! I didn't think he was going to wail on him that bad!

I haven't scene the fight yet. I'm thinking Rampage does it again.

Sorry to ruin it for you. I must say I wasn't really expecting it quite like it happened. It was nice to see Couture beat Sylvia a few months ago. Someone finally beat that guy. You know, I have a UFC event here almost every month... Pulver v Penn should be good.

Great edit. I think this film has the potential of something great within it. Also, liked the long sequence of the hitman's confusion: fascinating and original.

ACTORS: I make my living as an Actor and these were all friends of mine that helped me out.

very cool, my best friend moved out to San Diego a year ago to finish college and get into acting and is starting to make all sorts of friends in his acting classes that have been in big productions, so naturally I'm going to make the move out and join him in a few months and am really excited with the prospect of working with professional actors, but being from a very small market I'm pretty intimidated by the idea of securing locations and handling SAG and all that type of stuff so I appreciate your reply (where I live now there are hardly any obstacles to making a film for free)

Thanks guys. I'm glad you liked the movie. I appreciate the feedback.

Chris, Good luck on your move out to California. And don't be intimidated by working with professional actors. Most actors want to work, so ask them, if you have good material, they might do it.

Yeah, with broken promises of poker. :(

Joe- I expect you to be at the next UFC battle!! I didn't know you were a fan! (odd that I never noticed the poster, despite my immediate proximity to it!)

Indeed.

Fantastic movie....everyone has already mentioned the misspelling. And you got some awesome actors....actually some of my favorite actors that I wished did more stuff kind of actors. Ventresca, Chamberlain West and Burke are all fantastic actors! Good job with telling a great story.
It's funny that you mention Burke. I didn't know Michael before this shoot. I knew his girlfriend Kayren. We did a commercial together and she lived down my street. I needed someone to be in these surveliance photos and I knew she had a boyfriend (so they could make out in the pictures without any weirdness) and i could easily pick them up and take them to the motel down the street for the shots, and the whole thing could get done in a half hour. I saw him once as I was driving by her place and he seemed in good shape. I didn't even know he was an actor.

Well, they agreed to do it. We got it done in 30minutes. I didn't talk much to him on the set. Other then where to stand and when to make out. They were both great and it was easy. And amazingly, he looked alot like Vincent ,our lead.

Cut to, after we finished the film and we were putting on the end credits, I called to ask her the spelling of his name. She wasn't sure about his middle name so she told me to look on IMDB. Needless to say, when i saw his IMDB profile, I was embarrassed that I asked him to do such a small part in the film.

Just goes to show you that you can't throw a stone in LA without hitting an Actor.

I'm breaking my self imposed rule here & posting something before my actual feedback (and before finishing all the other films), but DANG I was impressed. Totally caught me off guard with the production quality, and you've got a GREAT looking cast. I'm sure you had them in your last film as well, since I recognized many of the faces? Which film was that again, Joe?

Great job again, and I'll post specifics later!

Norm, Thanks for the compliments! I really appreciate your kind words. You maybe recognize the actors from film and TV. They all work a lot. This is my first film for DVXUSER. I did a feature film called The Thin Pink LIne that was a spoof of The Thin Blue Line.It got released overseas but never opened in the states. In Japan they called it Pink Pink LIne.

this was definitly a cool film. really liked the way it was shot. Seemed complete from beginning to end. Really liked the "im so cool, i got the thumb drive" shoot. Only thing that i would have like to see is a little less CC or a different color shirt than white in the storage place but i guess im nit-picing. dont mind me.

great movie, one of the best.

And WE are competing against YOU?!?! I'm packing my suitcase & going home now, folks. :)

That makes sense where I'd recognize them from. Dang that makes me wish I was closer to LA. Eh, what am I saying ... I've got kids & I don't want them anywhere near there, lol!

Hey now... John Hermann... "Threading the Needle"... DramaFest ??? HELLO!?!?! :crybaby:

OK, So I don't have a arms-length worth of credits on imdb- (Actually, I have no credits on imdb  )- but if you recognized someone from dvxuser, I was in your buddy Ted Arabian's film. (They don't have a gloating smiley, do they?) hehe!!!

But actually, you probably recognized everyone else. :violin:

(Wow- lots of smileys.)
