Did you enter spyfest just to pad your posts? So you could vote? Tsk tsk. I wonder what the mods have to say...

Good luck Joe :)
Damn, you're on to me. Joining the fest was the only way I could see reaching 100.

Congrats on the successful upload & completing the film despite the composer woes! Love the one-sheet/poster as well!

Cool poster. Looks like something more traditionally "spy" than some of the other entries, which is cool in my book. Looking forward to it man

Thanks guys. Erfan did our poster as well as gripped on our shoot. I think he did an excellent job.

I can't wait for tomorrow to check out yours and every body elses films.

I'm thrilled with how ours came out. I owe a lot to Mike Halper, the Dp and editor. He worked his butt off on this thing.

Thanks Mike!!!!!

HAHA!!! AWESOME, JOE!!!

Man, I love the look and feel of this film. Dang... I want my next film to be more like this. I love the aspect ratio, the style of shots, the cinematgraphy, the direction... great, great, great!

Excellent work by all of your actors!

This film just looked and sounded great! Hat's off to you. I'm going back for more but I'll be viewing this again before the days over!

I thought it had good cinematography and choice of framing, especially holding off on the face in the beginning. The reveal of the masked man made me jump, it was genuinely surprising! It was hard for me to understand the story the whole way through, what with the computers and everything, I genuinely need a little bit more explanation, but that's just my opinion. However, the film was told entirely visually. Where others are dialogue heavy, yours was engaging and told a story visually! I also like the comic ending, and gives "Sorry" a whole new meaning!. I'd like to know the significance of the backwards "R" though.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. Being the DP and camera op, I'm glad you all like the cinematography. I've yet to watch any of the other films yet. I'm busy downloading them all now in the background while I put the finishing touches on the 5.1 mix as we speak... err as I type. Haha! Looking forward to watching them all in the next couple hours though.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I wanted to try to tell a story visually without relying on Dialogue. I wanted to have this guy get shot and through a series of flashbacks in his mind discover that he is a spy, that he screwed over a few different people, any of which could have hired this guy to kill him. Then I thought it would be funny to show this guy who made a mistake due to his dyslexia. That's why we have the backwards "R".
In earlier drafts, when he saw the address is wrong, we had a flashback to him as a child in school. A teacher has written the word dyslexia on the board and his parents are trying to comfort him. We thought it was too on the nose and added a lot of time to the shoot and movie. We then planned on doing some animation with the address. We would have the numbers turn around and change position. We found it was a little confusing and was unnecessary. It doesn't really matter if he's dyslexic or just got the address wrong. Either way he made a mistake.

Again, I'm glad you liked it.

I'm still downloading all of the films so I can watch them all in one sitting.

Theodore, Dustin, Bosindy and Gary. Thank you so much for the good reviews. I can't wait to see all of your films.

loved the cinematograpy, felt really professional especially in the opening scene.
film had good spy elements in it as well. great job on this one.

Nice work on the cinematography and a clever and engaging story. I hate to be a nit-picker but "corrupt" is spelled "currupt" on the computer screen. But i guess if that's the only bad thing i have to say, then you guys did some good work!

Ahh, you caught that. We had some issues with the provider of those computer screen effects and not enough time before the deadline to fix them. They will be fixed for the DVD tho.
