Sony's New HVR-A1U

Does anyone know anyting about Sony's HVR-A1U? I'm guessing its 1080 since its Sony but I don't know anything about any of the other features.

what the hell...if they can put XLR inputs on that then why didnt they put them on the FX1

You can use XLR mic. on FX1. Just get an Xlr to minijack cabel. It works fine. We are talking about 0,15 m cabel. The mic needs phantom power but most of them has internal 1,5 battery.
