Just wondering if anyone has ever had a problem connecting a 4 pin connector (of a firwire cable) to the Sony HC1 (or any device for that matter?)
Until now I've been using the one that came with my Canopus DV Bridge, which is a 4-6pin cable... it works fine, only when I go to unplug it, I really have to give a go at it. Almost like it's too snug or something. Sometime even pluging it into the camera can be tricky... now i'm having second thoughts of using it any further, as it almost feels like it's gonna rip a piece of the camera out with it.
I tried pluging the 4pin end into the DV Bridge... and it goes in and out with ease.
Any rate... I'm just wondering if maybe the HC1 made their i.LINK port slightly smaller that standard, and if their expensive i.LINK cable will work better?
