Up for sale is a Sony HVR-Z1U. The camera has always been professionally used and maintained. I am the original and only owner. The camera has never been rented. I use this camera and it is in great condition, looks good and all camera controls work perfectly. The camera has never been dropped and has no dents or other scratches. No issues at all with the lens. No issues with the optic block. I'm selling because I have upgraded to a higher end camera. The camera has used only Sony tapes.

The camera has been lightly used and the hours are as follows:
Operation 78x10
Drum Run 41x10
Tape Run 29x10
Threading 67x10

RE: Z1U for sale

RE: Z1U for sale

I'm just inquiring to know if you have had any inquiries yet. I, too, own a Z1U and my partner also has one and we are thinking of upgrading also. We're looking to get out of the MPEG codec so we're looking at the Panasonic HPX-300. I was curious what you upgraded to. I'm also trying to get a feel for how much I might get for our two rigs. I'd love to know how you make out with your sale. Best of luck and write back if you get a chance.
