Sony xlr adapter K2M issue

i guys,
i have just bought the new k2m xlr audio box for the A7s: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1078571-REG/sony_xlr_k2m_xlr_box_mi.html
I am concerned because it has a lot of play just between the suspension mic holder and the box that produces some noise.
I also have the k1m and it has a little rubber piece in this area and it doesn't have this problem.
You guys have the same problem? or it's just my unit?

a quick question: Do you need to sync the audio in post, when using that audio box? Or do the camera make a videofile with audio as normal?

No sync needed. Audio is embedded with video. That is one of the advantages of this.

How did you guys find the sound quality for the K1m/K2m preamp? Is it usable professionally?

Currently I have a Juicedlink DT454 preamp with Sanken CS1e shotgun mic, but there is a lot of handling noise from mounting the rig on top of the camera, and its kind of bulky too, so considering getting the K2m to go directly onto the mic.
