Hi
Anyone using this lens with an A7s?
Does the lens stability control help in video mode?
How is the balance hand held?
Are there issues finding focus at infinity?
Lack of exterior lens focus markings seems problematic.
Do you think this is too heavy to use with the Nebula 4000 and the A7s?

Does the lens stability control help in video mode? It helps, its not as dramatic as a zoom.

How is the balance hand held? Front heavy, its a dense lens.

Are there issues finding focus at infinity? Not any worse than any other focus by wire lens, just spin the ring till it gets there.

Lack of exterior lens focus markings seems problematic. Its a focus by wire lens, so that's unavoidable

Do you think this is too heavy to use with the Nebula 4000 and the A7s? Combined they take you right to the nebula weight limit. I'd ask in the Nebula thread, but from what I've seen heavy lenses mess with the balance. From the comments in this video from Eric Naso it won't balance.

i am using this lens mostly on my FS7 and on my A7II for stills...OSS works pretty well, i would not want to use it on my A7II without the grip, it is not a small lens...i am honestly surprised with the optical quality...i shoot mostly at f4 and really can't find anything wrong with it at all focal lenghts...sharp, detailed, no complaints....it pretty much lives on my FS7...
manual focus is a little tricky...because the AF on the FS7 works surprisingly well, i rarely use manual focus with the 16-35, so maybe i just don't have enough practice with it? i also have the 55/1.8 (and the 28-70 kit zoom that came with the A7II, which is not as well made) and the mechanism is the same but i seem to have an easier time with the 55....i am waiting for the 28-135...played with it and like the focus mechanism a little better....but in general i actually use the AF with the 16-35 most of the time, something i did not anticipate...
