honestly, if it's electronic i'd be more than annoyed, a electronic ND filter isn't a filter at all and that would be false advertising to say something has a built in ND filter when it really just has a 'light reducing circuit" i made a preorder for an ND filter, not a circuit
I don't think there even is such a thing as an "electronic" ND. ISO is electronic ND, but it can't really go very low.
Every ND is basically a filter wheel. Though some in consumer cams are automatic. How can you be annoyed by something that doesn't exist?

i just called sony and the lady read from their whatever papers that it's a 3 stop neutral density and she said yes it's an actual filter not electronic.
better, but not completely reassuring
This little camera is making it difficult for me to pull the trigger on BM Pocket! Urrrrrgh!
If we are talking about image, DR, codec, then Pocket is clearly winner. The RX10 is a handy little consumer camera, but I'm not seeing more than 10 stops DR max on video and it is a low grade point and shoot codec.

If we are talking about true pocket type portability, usability, convenience, then rx10 is winner. Sony, Could you have S-log available for rx10? Please?
What's the best link to use?i've already submitted two separate requests for them to up their codec to compete with the gh3 which is in the same price range. if enough people submit requests, they might just listen
