Sony RX10 ISO and Audio Test

We used a small LED for the Key and no fill other than ambient light. I think it held together pretty well up to 3200 and even through the highest, it could be usable for certain creative work.
Audio was plugged straight in using pre-amps on the camera with a wireless. Not to noisy and definately useable but would like to play around with that xlr addon they have to see if the audio is clenaer.
All in All I would not hesitate to use this for corporate interviews, run and gun, steady cam stuff and video blogs. While I wont be giving up my af-100 any time soon, I can see how this camera can be used for many projects and will save alot of time. I am really happy with this camera

Holy Crap & Cow and Stabilization is als good and ClearZoom to, but with High ISO more Noise as tradeoff. I prefer Natural -3 -1-3 wich gives very good skin tones. Outside with a Tiffen Ultracon 1/2. 3 Ultracon still waiting coming in.

Good stuff. When you consider what this camera is and is not I'm continually blown away with it's potential. In fact, I'm just about to order another one just for dual camera interviews. The kind of stuff where simple and effective pays off.

yes I agree. I don't think this camera is better or worse than a dslr or a af-100 but just shoots different. I am liking the versatility so far. Yesterday I was about to do a job and I looked at my camera case with an af-100 with 5 lens and canon 60d with 3 lens weighing about 35 pounds and thinking wow this little rx10 can replace all of that gear about 90% of the time for the kinds of shoots i do.

yes I did some clear zoom test and not to bad. In fact I used the clear zoom on a job 2 days ago and the results were great. For the settings, I am still playing with those but I am shoot flat and correct in post kinda guy so i am quite happy. Here is a grab of my vision for the corrected image. This is by taste of course but the codec holds up well.
