FS7: Sony rumored to release new FS7

does anyone know what's the exact format / bit depth the Odyssey outputs? and what's the highest framerate possible? 240 fps raw? vs. 120fps slog without?

is the Odyssey worth the extra money: 144pin Interface: 1.746,00€, Odyssey + RAW upgrade: 2.800,00$?!

Same as on the FS7.

Same as on the FS7.

I posted this in the FS700 thread as well, sorry about that.

Mitch sorry to hijack the thread but I have an FS5 and I am about to pull the trigger on a used 7Q (not 7Q+) with the FS raw license and I have a few quesitons I cannot find an answer anywhere.

1. Would my FS5 work with the 7Q with preinstalled FS raw license? - my guess is yes
2. Do I still get the same 4K/60p and 2K/240 RAW as I'd get form a O7Q+?
3. to my knowledge the only difference really between a 7Q and a 7Q+is the HDMI on the 7Q+ supports 4K/UHD from HDMI sources, whereas the 7Q is limited to 1080p/60?
4. Do you still need 2 x SSDs at the same time to record 4K/60p and 2K / 240 fps max frame rates in Raw and 4K RAW to 2K ProRes conversions with the Sony PXW-FS5?

Are there any other differences between the 7Q and 7Q+? Thank you so much in advance for your time.

1 - Yes, just make sure firmware is up to date
2 - Yes, all the same. Don't forget 4K120p burst
3 - Old 7Q HDMI limitation: 1080p30/1080i60 vs. 7Q+ HDMI: DCI4K24p, UHD30p, 1080p60
SDI on 7Q is all 3G, 7Q+ has 6G capability for use with Blackmagic Design cameras.
4 - 2x SSDs for RAW only at 4K50-60p, 2K200-240p. ProRes recording doesn't require two.

No other differences.
