Sony prime support and regions

Hi!

I am considering buying an F3 from USA or globalmediapro.com. I live in eurpoe, how does this effect the sony prime support?
Is it not possible to registrar this camera for repair in europe?
If the camera fails will I need to send it to the region I bought it from?

I am not 100% certain, but I know B & H will only sell the camera to someone in the "US", and I know here in Canada, they will only sell to Canadians.

I wouldn't take the chance, buy it from a local dealer, and you won't have any warranty issues to worry about.

I think you would be safe inside Europe as well. On a big ticket item, I always try to buy it from an authorized dealer in my country, sure I am paying a little bit more, but you get the peace of mind incase "something" happens.
