Hi.
We have a volunteer-run nonprofit Community Relief Services that I am trying to buy some decent cameras for. The nonprofit works in education, food distribution and encouraging a culture of self-giving.

I am personally trying to scrape together enough cash to donate two Sony PMW-EX1R cameras (possibly the original EX1 non-R as well.) If anybody has one or two for sale please let me know. Would super appreciate any donations but of course I am expecting to pay. Roughly $3200-4200 each depending on camera condition.

Need to buy atleast one of these pretty fast in the next week or two. Thanks for your time!

If you are still looking, I have an EX1. It is, in my opinion, in very good to great shape, only some minor wear, with some paint missing from the labels, and the jinky little plastic cap for the SDI is missing. With it I have two batteries the 1xBPU-30 and 1xBPU-60, SxS cards: I have 2x8GB and 2x16GB. Charger, remote, strap (never used), manuals and cables as well. I would have to go into my attic, but I might even have the original packaging it came in. But it's been kept in a nice blue Portabrace bag since day one.

Hours are low at 158. I would guess that around 85 of those hours it was sat on a tripod filming two 4 day long conferences. Never been used outside; only been out on one job this year, and two in 2011. I am a designer by day and have very few video jobs. Last December I purchased a FS100 and NEX7 for the larger chip and internet fervor, so now the EX1 just sits, waiting for me to find it a good home.

In our local camera shop I quoted someone a price of $4000 for the lot, seemed competitive to what I've seen on ebay, but would be willing to hear offers.

Also sent you a PM with contact info

Best,
Andrew Hollister

It also comes with a Libec Zoom remote , 2 8G sxs cards, 2 functioning Sony batteries, and all original accessories. Carlo Zanella 505.314.6112 of karlz67@yahoo.com. Thank you!

Hi,

I have a practically brand new EX-1R with roughly 40 hours of use on it but I will have to check the camera for a more accurate reading, it could even be less. It has been used by me about 9 times and that's it, the camera is in excellent condition. I am selling it for 4,000 with a $150 camera bag. I have all the accessories except for the original box. I am located in New York City. Message or call me if you're interested. Daniel (518) 892 6169 zivonaire@gmail.com Thanks!
