On these long concert shoots where I must use at least one camera's audio for a secondary track, I could save hours if I could export WAV audio alone from CB directly.
Presently, to get audio without the glitch every 17 minutes, I must export MXF for NLEs, open in Premiere, export WAV and then marry that to the MP4 XDCam files in Premiere.
I can't use the MXF because in Premiere it's all blocky and pixellated.
Presently, it takes a couple hours to do this because of all the conforming, exporting and importing that I have to do, to say nothing of doubling the hard drive space required (this concert uses 160GB of files from four cameras and 7 channels of audio).
A simple WAV export from Clip Browser would eliminate all this extra shuffling around of bits.
