It was to show the Sony FS100 and Panasonic GH2 both cameras that use AVCHD 4:2:0 @ 24mbps codec how they handle the highlights and shadows differently when shot flat to achieve most range and then under the same Color Grades. This test really opened my eyes to what the FS100 is capable of.
