I have this combo for the FS700. It's very quick, so yes it can be jumpy. I'd say it's best for tracking unpredictable objects like pets and people in run and gun situations. You kind of learn how to keep the AF from jumping around a lot. Mostly by framing your desired focus object in the middle of the shot. Compared to the E Mount lenses i've tried, where it wouldn't quite keep up with me walking slowly towards my subject. LAEA2 is so much faster and has no trouble.
Thanks .
I can not find to much video showing exactly how laea2 working . Most video which I see on you tube, vimeo does not show it .I think ,people cut out (jumping focus ) part of video . I wish get 16-50 and 70-20 f2.8 but at first I would like to see how is it working . Unfortunately I live in small town and I do not have chance to check it in shop . Maybe there is someone who can upload video on youtube or vimeo showing alpha lens ,laea2 with fs100 or fs700 ????
