I've been shooting with the Z1 for a couple of shoots now with 2 different cameras and they both exhibit a strange abberation. When in manual iris mode with auto gain off, changing the f-stop as indicated in the viewfinder for the 1st 2/3rd's or so of the range, no decrease in video is seen. This is more apparent if you are using a nd setting that is not optimal. When I close down one stop I want to see the image get darker. I have been shooting over 20 years and know that I won't see any difference when the image is fully blown till I get to a workable range. There seems to be some kind of quirky lag or bug.
Is there a software setting I am unaware of that could be causing this. Remember,
iris is set to manual and auto gain is off. I see 0db in the viewfinder at all times. The f stop indicator changes but the image does not.
