I am an intern for the Fish and Wildlife Service. We are doing a infraredvideo project on the Ozark big-eared bat. TheA1U frame speed is locked out in the nightshot mode. We video the bats comingout and slow the video down to frame by frame and look for the large ears knowfor this species. Currently the video is blurry at this speed and could be muchbetter if I could increase the frame rate. We use external lighting so itwouldn't be a problem to increase it. I don't know if anyone knows how to getaround the lockout and help me out. I have contacted Sony and they said itwasn't worth their time to write me a software patch so now I am looking for alternativerouts. Any information or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
