B basil_555 Member Dec 2, 2024 #1 Hello. I have Sony FX30 and FS700 with Odyssey 7q+ recorder. Is there any reason to keep both cameras or should I rather sell FS700 and Odyssey?

Jim Feeley Veteran Dec 2, 2024 #2 I'd factor in: How much can you get for a FS700 and Odyssey as we enter 2025? I'm guessing not much; at least, not enough to buy another reasonably good backup camera and recorder. Here are the prices on some completed eBay sales: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=Sony+FS700&_sacat=0&rt=nc&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1 Wouldn't it be nice to have a backup camera and recorder that you're familiar with, in case your FX30 breaks, gets lost, or gets stolen? But if you also has a decent mirrorless (stills/hybrid) camera as a backup, better to get some money now rather than even less in a few months... Last edited: Dec 2, 2024
