Sony FX1 or Sony A1U?

Hello,

I am looking to buy the FX1 or A1U, but I can't seem to make up my mind.

Does the A1u have features the FX1 does not? I have had people say that the A1 is better then the FX1 but I just find it hard to believe!

Please help me make up my mind :)

Well, I have the FX1 and I had the opportunity to buy the A1U, but it was never an option. The FX1 just has better controls for a serious videographer, but they call it a consumer camera...silly Sony!
 
i bought a hc1. The size is very cool. You can look like your doing some home vacation video and sneak into anywhere. but...

It has a little trouble with the color red (look magentaish)
the quality is not the same as the fx1
it is not as good in low light.
controls are a bit automated

fx1 is alot bigger.
better controls
colors and sharpness is better

so it kinda depends on what your doing.
if you doing documentary, or club videos, or home videos etc
get a a1u

everything else fx1 or the fx7

i returned my hc1 and got a fx1
