FS5: Sony FS5 Green Screen TV Commercial

TV commercial full of green screen work was shot entirely on Sony FS5 with Sony 18-105 f/4 and 1080p XAVC HD codec. We have whole bunch of cinema lens series but i insisted on testing sony lens to see what it is capable of.

Stupid question: Why didn't you shoot it on a blue cove?

Client wanted to have freedom of choosing background after the shoot. It's all about post production stage, not my concern.

Hi Emre, have just got my FS5 a week ago & have yet to do a green screen job with it. Out of curiosity, do you use internal UHD or 1080p? & did you use a log profile or a 'baked in one'? cheers

Hi again everyone,

We used internal 1080p 50fps 50Mbps with PP8 - slog3 cinegamma

18-105 is a great lens, for the price point it is superb. Great for doc., run&gun, guerilla type projects. Built in IS is fine, AF is poor. Not sharp as much as primes but it's ok in many situations.
