Hello

I want to buy the sony fs100, I dont have much experience with pro cameras and I would like to be able to use autofocus as well as manual. Does the autofocus work with photo lenses from canon, nikon etc.? I dont know if I should go for the fs100 with lens kif for this matter.

Thanks a lot

best regards

just like any other camera body, AF only works with the same brand lenses. So, for the fs100, only sony e mount lenses will have AF. Apparently there are some new adapters coming out, sony a mount lenses are suppose to work with AF in the future and when the birger adapter for canon comes out i think it will have AF? may be wrong about the birger adapter
