Sony FS100/700 footage in Sony Vegas Pro 10+ ??

Hey all, question for you individuals who use Vegas Pro as their NLE for editing. What's the best rendering codec to use with footage from the FS100/700? I assume I should render under Sony AVC? I remember reading that rendering under QuickTime or wmv. has better image quality even though it takes longer to render. Any thoughts? Thanks!
 
I tried WMV and dark colors were too black, or they were after uploading the video to YouTube, I can't remember exactly... Anyway, I render to MP4 (H264 - MPEG-4 AVC) and in my opinion it's a good quality for the Internet but I suppose it is not the best quality you can get. About QuickTime, my copy of Sony Vegas can't render as *.mov :-/
