Sony FS 700 60p Footage

Hi,

Got a quick question. I tried shooting 1080 60p together with sound. During import into my 24p timeline. Everything seems slightly faster then it should be. What am I doing wrong? how can i prevent my mistakes?

I mainly decided for 60P instead of 24P recording to prevent any stuttering images as I film fast objects in sport.

As the sony seem to work on 60P with sound.... it should play 60p footage at real time or???

Whats is my mistakes. Thanks for your Help.

I think you want a fast shutter speed, not frame rate. Shoot at 24 fps and select a shutterspeed of 200 or more.
 
It just looks "fast" cause fcp has dropped 36 frames to have it work in a 24p timeline. I shoot 1080/60 a lot and what I do is edit in a 60p timeline and export 24fps. Try that out, real time should look okay. Either way, sports/action played at 24 will look "fast".
