[SOLD] Sony FS-100 Package (18-200mm and 16mm Lenses & More)

Stephen Mick

Totally Usable
As much as I love the large sensor, I've decided it's just not the best fit for the shooting that I do. So I've got a FS-100 package that needs a new home. Here's what's included…

- Complete Sony FS-100 Kit Lens (18-200mm) Package with All Accessories
- Extra Sony NP-F970 "Big" Battery for FS-100
- Sony 16mm f2.8 E-Mount Lens
- Sony FMU-128 Solid-State Memory Unit (128GB)
- Novoflex Nikon to E-Mount Lens Adapter
- Berkey System FS-100 Top Plate (Already Installed)

I am not interested in selling any of the items separately at this time. Package only.

Price: $6,700 (includes Paypal and shipping). CONUS only.

What is the main problem with this camera that you have encountered that is basically making you switch I would assume to a 2/3 camera?
In the near future I am looking to buy an FS100 and just wanted to know, sorry for the off topic

Thanks

(No worries on the off-topic.)

Most of the shooting I do is documentary-style, run-and-gun stuff. A lot of it is outdoors, in quickly-changing lighting conditions. Now, the FS-100 (or DSLR, or AF-100) CAN work for this type of shooting. But it just isn't a good fit for me. I've tried to embrace the large-sensor camcorder concept, but find myself missing the ease of use and the versatility of the HPX/HVX cameras. So I've pretty well decided that one of the new Panasonic camcorders (probably the HPX-250) and a DSLR (mainly for stills and some shallow-DOF video) is the right combination for me.

The FS-100 is an amazing camera, and in the right shooting situations, I don't think there's anything better at the price point. But it's just not the right fit for me.
