jetswing inspired me so I went and shot my own sunset. Well, technically I was there to do a test shoot ahead of principle this weekend, but his video did inspire me to make it artsy instead of just testing the lighting conditions and picture profiles =)
They were on a whim shots, so they're not the steadiest or best composed, but oh man..... they came out a lot nicer then I thought they would.
The girl was actually already being photographed by a local photographer on the beach when I came along. I asked if they would mind letting me hop in and video while he worked. They were nice enough to agree and even got a business lead for a corporate video shoot out of it =p
Test shoot using the Sony NEX FS-100.
- Shot on Sigma 20mm f/1.8 nikon mount using a novoflex adapter
- Picture profile used was ABNorm
- Shot on a Blackbird stabilizer
- Beach panoramas shot at 60fps 1080
- Graded in Colorista II with diffusion using MBLooks
